Serene Rose Residents Welfare Association

It's been a long standing tradition of the residents of Serene Rose to distribute gifts and sweets to the staff members.  This year was no different with the residents participating enthusiastically by contributing their share to make this event a memorable and enjoyable one to both the staff members and the residents.

Now for some interesting news on why Dusshera and Diwali are spaced 20 days apart.  It's believed that Lord Rama took 20 days to reach his hometown Ayodhya after killing Ravana and Vibhishana as the new ruler of Lanka.  

Now the part that has long been a topic of debate is, how did the convoy manage to cover the huge distance within a span of 20 days?  Apart from the 'Pushpak Viman' mentioned in the scriptures that allowed Lord Ram, Sita and the others to fly back to Ayodhya in the short time, there have been many theories and over time, people have tried to look for more practical (or believable) answers to the puzzle.  Check out this interesting article to know more...
